Preproduction for the new Superman movie is now underway. The people behind the movie have already announced their new Superman in Henry Cavill. The British actor snagged the role over other actors vying for the role of the iconic character. Cavill is a relative unknown. He is most known for being a part of the cast of The Tudors and in the recent Count of Monte Cristo remake.
The new Superman movie will be a reboot and won’t have any relation to the Superman Returns movie directed by Bryan Singer. Christopher Nolan will help lead the development of the project but he won’t be directing the movie. That responsibility will fall on director Zack Snyder.
