More sequel rumors: The supposed working title for the sequel for the Superman movie will be Superman: Unleashed, according to several reports on the internet. However, there is nothing definite yet (as if we’re not used to that), as even the director for the last Superman film, Brian Singer, is neither on or off the project. The same goes for Brandon Routh, who last played the Man of Steel. The sequel allegedly promises to “raise the stakes” and make Superman a more action-oriented movie, as the last was decidedly tame. Brandon also has responded so some inputs that Superman be made darker, as is the trend nowadays, brought about by the success of Batman The Dark Knight, by saying that it’s just “not in his (Superman’s) nature” to be a dark and brooding character.
