The unthinkable and death of Supergirl in issue 7 of Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1985 DC. It was in history as one of the biggest comic book mini series of all time. It put end to the multiverse to explain the existence of the original Juice Society and the original Superman existing as far back as World War II.
