Rumors has it that Mark Millar is planning to create a Superman movie which is an 8 hour screen movie. The movie is said to follow the whole life of Kal-el, beginning from his birth on Krypton up to the time where he is supposed to be the last living being on Earth. Empire had a meeting with Millar to discuss about his plan of a follow up to the previous Superman Returns film. It is said that Mark is busy wroking and collaborating with a big action director in Hollywood to help him realize, as he says, the Magnum Opus of all Superman stories. He still did not name the director. The eight hour saga will be cut into 3 parts. And he plans to release the film a year apart. Similar to the Lord of the Rings style. The story starts in Krypton up to the time that the Sun starts to supernova. Ultimately rendering our hero POWERLESS.
